We need backups of state (at least on raven and the gateway server).

I suggest to use restic (example configuration in NixOS).

  • Where to store backups?
    • Wasabi (we can use mine (@sbruder’s) unless it is getting over a few dozens of GiBs)
    • My (@sbruder’s) home server/NAS also has some space available, but has a not that fast upload speed
  • Add module
  • Activate it on affected systems
    • raven
    • gateway (does it have state?)
